God's Plans...More Than We Can Imagine!!!

Golf course with lake view...so beautiful!

Main house...built in the late 1800s.  There is also a hotel attached as well as store.

Earlier this week, we received some devastating news in regards to our upcoming Golf Camp we are hosting in partnership with FCA from the States.  The golf club we have reserved for the camp called a meeting to inform us that they are not comfortable with us using the name of Jesus or God and even went so far to say that they do not believe anything the Bible teaches.  All of this comes just one week out from our camp!

We were disappointed to say the least but felt God had bigger and better plans.  Boy...did He!  So the next morning we refocused and called a fairly new contact we have made with a local Golf Club...Glasson Golf Hotel and Country Club.  The manager and owner themselves met with us and were very sympathetic to say the least.  They said "we have no issues with you sharing about Jesus and would like a copy of the Bible you are giving out for ourselves as well".  Basically they offered us anything we needed (practice areas, food locations, media for our event)!  So now... not only do we have a more beautiful and logistically speaking...greater place to hold the camp...we also got it for free!  God is so good.  Praise Him along with us for this great victory!  Also...please be praying for our camp (April 6-9th) where we will be hosting 50 campers age 12-17 and sharing with them life lessons from golf as well as the greatest lesson...the knowledge of Jesus Christ!

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

St. Patrick's Day... Irish Style

Well today was the most beautiful day...weather wise...I have seen since I have been in Ireland. The sun was shinning and I was actually warm.  The flowers are in bloom everywhere...and its just one of those days you want to be outside all day.  So off me and my roomie, Julia, went to meet up with our other team members from OM.  Our Big Red Bus was going to be in the parade...and we were going to help hand out Gospel tracts about the real reason for St. Patrick Day.

We arrived to a sea of people...not only OM staff...but also to loads of people from local churches in the area.  It just warmed my heart to see all of them working together along side us.  That is one of the main focuses of OM... to get the churches to focus on kingdom work together and act as "THE CHURCH".  So as we began the parade route...I must admit I was a little teary eyed...thanking God for where He has brought me...and for the hearts of so many saints.  And a great big Thank you to all of my prayer and financial supporters who make this possible....you are so appreciated!

A Shout out to My Roomies

I have been blessed with two wonderful, God honoring roomies or flat mates...or housemates...as they are called here.  Leena is from Dubai and is our Teenstreet (youth) coordinator.  Julia is from Sydney Australia and is our Global Challenge Coordinator...coordinates the short term trips that join us.

Together we have become known as Charlie's Angels...working along side each other through all of our events. We have quickly bonded through the sisterhood of CHRIST and spend many late nights giggling like we were little girls.  I couldn't ask for better roomies and this is just a quick SHOUT OUT to them.
